Instructions and Technical Documentation:

  • Uploading a Website to GitHub Pages: I designed these instructions for my course Writing in Digital Environments. Using them a group of students were able to upload templates from HTML5 UP to publicly-accessible GitHub Pages websites during a single hour and fifteen-minute class period.
  • Document-Design Activity: A set of instructions and materials for teachers to administer a college-level document-design activity. These materials are designed with courses in professional and technical writing in mind, but could be repurposed for a variety of contexts.
  • Using Obsidian to Develop a Classroom Knowledge Base: Obsidian is free technology designed to create a networked knowledge base. It is not explicitly designed for collaboration, but in my Writing in Digital Environments course I came up with a method and set of instructions for students to create and manage a shared "Vault" in Obsidian.
